Your use of Mortgage House of Ryde’s (MHR) website is governed by these Conditions of Use.
These Conditions of Use explain how your personal information will be treated as you access and interact with the MHR website.
Your use of the MHR website indicates your acceptance of these Conditions of Use, including any changes made to them.
Collection and use of information
MHR may collect personal information from you directly or via your use of our services. MHR will only collect personal information which is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to, our functions or activities.

To the extent permitted by law, MHR and our related companies accept no liability for any loss or damage (including indirect, special or consequential loss or damage to any person):

Trademarks and Copyright
MHR owns trademarks which are registered or under application. Some of those trademarks are used in the MHR website.
You are not permitted to use MHR’s trademarks without our consent, unless such use is otherwise expressly permitted by this website or by law.
The MHR website and its contents are copyright to MHR, or in some cases, to other parties. You are entitled to save and or print part or all of the MHR website for your own information but you are not entitled to alter it.

You agree that MHR may at any time vary these Conditions of Use by publishing the varied conditions of use on the MHR website. The right of MHR to vary these Conditions of Use includes adding to and expanding them as the information and functions available through the MHR website change.
Sensitive information
Sensitive information is any information about a person’s racial or ethnic origin, political opinion, membership of a political association, religious beliefs or affiliations, philosophical beliefs, membership of a professional or trade association, membership of a trade union, sexual preferences or practices, criminal record, or health.
MHR will not ask you to disclose sensitive information, but if you elect to provide sensitive information, it will also be captured and stored.
Information from third parties
The MHR website also contains links to the websites of third party providers of goods and services (Third Party websites). If you have accessed Third Party websites through the MHR website, and if those third parties collect information about you, MHR may also collect or have access to that information as part of our arrangements with those third parties
Where you access a Third Party website from the MHR website, cookie information, information about your preferences, or other information you have provided about yourself may be shared between MHR and the third party.
Advertising and tracking
When you view MHR advertisements on a Third Party website, the advertising company uses ‘cookies’ and in some cases ‘web beacons’ to collect information such as:

When you access the MHR website after viewing a MHA advertisement on a Third Party website, the advertising company collects information on how you utilise the MHA website (eg which pages you view) and whether you complete an online application.

MHR may use ‘cookies’ to provide you with better and more customised service and with a more effective website.
A ‘cookie’ is a small text file placed on your computer by our web page server. A cookie can later be retrieved by MHA webpage servers. Cookies are frequently used on websites and you can choose if and how a cookie will be accepted by configuring your preferences and options in your internet browser.
MHR may use cookies for different purposes such as:

IP addresses
Your IP address is the identifier for your computer when you are using the internet.
It may be necessary for MHR to collect your IP address for your interaction with various parts of the MHA website.
Online applications
When you send a completed online application to MHR, we retain the information contained in that application. MHR is able to then use that information to provide any financial services that you require.
You can also suspend and save online applications, so you can complete and send the applications at a later time. If you suspend or save your application, the information that you have entered will be retained in our systems so that you may recover the information when you resume your application. Online applications that have been suspended or saved may be viewed by MHR.
Security of information
MHR takes reasonable steps to preserve the security of personal information in accordance with these Conditions of Use and the Privacy Policy If your browser is suitably configured, it will advise you whether the information you are sending us will be secure (encrypted) or not secure (unencrypted).
MHR takes all reasonable steps to protect the information in our systems from misuse, interference, loss, and any unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
If MHR no longer requires your information, and is legally permitted to, MHR will take all reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify the information.
MHR regularly reviews developments in security and encryption technologies. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed as totally secure. Accordingly, although MHR strives to protect such information, MHR cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we take reasonable steps to preserve the security of the information in our own systems.
Direct marketing
MHR will not use or disclose sensitive information about you for direct marketing purposes unless you have consented to that kind of use or disclosure.
MHR may use your personal information for direct marketing purposes. If you wish to know the source of the information being used, you may submit a request to ryde@mortgagehouse.com.au and MHR will respond to your request as soon as practicable.
Disclosure to overseas entities
MHR does not generally disclose personal information obtained from cookies to overseas entities in the course of our activities.
